About NGM Foundation

The NGM Foundation (Nanfuka George Memorial Foundation) was founded in 2022 by three brothers - Alex, Nathan, and Eric - who were orphans themselves. After experiencing the challenges of growing up without parents, they united to create this foundation to help other vulnerable children.

Our name honors Nanfuka & George, whose spirits continue to inspire our work. Starting as a small initiative, we've grown to support hundreds of children across Uganda.

We believe every child deserves education, healthcare, nutrition, and a safe home, regardless of their circumstances.

Children at NGM Foundation

Our Core Objectives

We are committed to transforming lives through comprehensive support programs for vulnerable children.

Education Support

We pay school fees for orphans to ensure they receive quality education. We provide uniforms, books, and supplies. Our after-school programs include tutoring and mentorship to help children succeed academically.

Shelter Provision

We provide safe shelter to orphans and homeless children. Our shelters offer a family environment with caregivers, nutritious meals, and emotional support. Each child has personal space and access to clean facilities.

Basic Needs

We help street children by providing basic needs including food, clean water, clothing, and hygiene products. Our nutrition program provides three balanced meals daily, with special attention to malnourished children.

Disabled Children Support

We support disabled children with specialized care, therapy, and resources. We provide assistive devices like wheelchairs and hearing aids. We educate communities about disability inclusion and provide parent training.

Healthcare Services

We provide health services to people in need. Our program includes medical check-ups, vaccinations, emergency care, and medications. We cover hospitalization costs and provide mental health counseling for children who experienced trauma.

Community Outreach

We work directly with communities to identify children in need. We train community volunteers and run livelihood programs for guardians to improve family economic stability, reducing the need for child labor.

Our Future Goals

Building on our current success, we have ambitious plans to expand our reach across Uganda.

Expand Shelter Capacity

We want to make a shelter to accommodate more than 400 kids. Our planned expansion includes separate dormitories for different age groups, a medical clinic, counseling rooms, and educational facilities. We aim to create a safe, nurturing home environment where children can thrive and feel secure.

Expand Feeding Program

We want to expand our feeding program to reach more communities across Uganda. Our goal is to establish community kitchens in 15 additional districts, focusing on areas with high malnutrition rates. We will partner with local farmers to source fresh produce and teach nutrition education to mothers and caregivers.

Healthcare Outreach

We want our healthcare outreach to further reach Uganda. We plan to acquire mobile medical units to serve remote villages without healthcare access. Each unit will have examination rooms, laboratory equipment, and pharmacy services. We will conduct monthly medical camps focusing on preventive care and treatment.
